The second day of our road trip was spectacular. We started off by opffroading it to the Long Neck Village. The women have large brass rings around there necks that compress their collar bones to make their necks look longer. Many of them have had these rings on for over 30 years!
We got a lucky tip from a traveller that Allan had met a few weeks back. He told tales of a crazy cave in which 50,000 birds lived and migrated into every night at dusk. We took the guided tour through the cave, and sure enough, at dusk 50,000 birds flew into the cave over the course of about 30 minutes(Video coming soon). It was amazing. We then stayed that night at the Cave Lodge, about a 5 minute walk away. This place was an experience in itself.Click here for more pictures
